so, i've got this plot.

i've been realizing over the past few months that if i get on the good side of all the 6-graders from the feeder schools of saruhashi JHS (my bad school), then in may when they graduate and become a junior high school student at Saruhashi, my classes will go so much better. and, luckily, i teach both feeder schools (Sumiyoshi and Saruhashi Shogakkou's).
taught two 6 grade classes today and tried to be the coolest, genkiest teacher ever. think it worked.
in other news, i have to give credit to the senseis there who, when told about my recent trip to singapore,
1) made fun of the mer-lian
2) said: "ah. i hear singapore is very beautiful"
so...although kate's email was hilarious about her teachers, it goes to show that maybe only kate's highschool teacher's are dumb.
AND
some high school students from the states. yesterday at japanese class, eriko-san made dinner and invited a bunch of high school exchange students. she is a host mother of one of them at the moment, and there were a bunch more from the AFS??? (did i say that right?) from around niigata ken.
i'm thinking...
did i used to be that obnoxious at 16? i suppose i was. or maybe i'm not used to hanging around americans. would english or canadian 16 year old's be that annoying? i suppose maybe.
i suppose i might be offending a few people if someone happens to discover this entry. oh well. i also have to add, that while we were playing the Yamanote Line Game (big circle of people, you have to say a topic right after each other...we played 'countries) some of the kids said, as country names:
quebec
labrador
?????????? well, i'm surprised they've even heard of labrador. (*-*)
dinner and movie night at hitens tonight with luke. i like the 3 of us together...we make a good group. i'm going to bring over Napolean Dynamite, and i suspect hit might cook one of his infamous prawn curries (fingers crossed).
and tomorrow...sado ni ikimasu. NANDE???? don't even get me started. BAH! well i suppose we wolves have to practice our dance to thriller. but still. BAKA YO!
