Hockey (Night) In Canada...my friend Karl sent me this pic. He was in banff last week. aparently it was only like -3 there. they've been having a really mild winter so far (the canal in ottawa only opened for skating last week). today it was -3 in shibata!

well the canal opened Saturday and closed again Tuesday... still closed now till who knows when.. it's SO mild, but rainy. too bad.
really! well notice my weather-counter at the bottom of the page. -29 in ottawa today. looks as though the canal will re-open pretty quickly!
