another monday rolls around

i really wish that my shogakkou day fell on another day than a monday. today i've got 42 first graders in the play room for 2nd period, and then third graders after that. i'm always far too tired on a monday to do it without at least 3 cups of coffee beforehand.
i was wrenched from a rather unpleasant dream by my alarm this morning. i'd spent the whole dream trying to get to the Clap Your Hands concert (which happened to be in california). but for some reason we just couldn't get there. everything kept going wrong and we didn't know where we were going. and i was with lindsay who had a toddler. i'd asked her why it was the first time i'd seen her daughter and she got angry with me saying her mother had taken care of her until then. then we finally got close to the concert place and i realized i'd forgotten the concert tickets at home (stapled to my bulletin board).
in other news, i spent all week downloading the first season of House only to discover i'd downloaded the first season of Full House by mistake.
congrats to the footballers, BTW.

hi girls!
how things? heard about the footie. tom delighted. all good here. haven't really had a chance to miss niigata too much yet, things hectic since we've been back.we've moved into a lovely big one bed apartment in very nice area in dublin. crazy expensive but what can you do.i was offered a job in the buildings office in University College Dublin, very good pay and benefits and a familar place, nice environment.i went to uni there and worked there before i went to japan so i know alot of people(who've all been promoted a number of times while i was away!) in admin/buildings & services department. job is good, kinda purchasing supervisor/accounts for the buildings office.not really my thing but lots of interaction with people, learning some new things and it pays the rent. just realised i should probably just send a mail but have already written this so here goes.
hope everyone is well
