totally hear you. it's unbeliveable. my schools have changed again. i am in ogata jhs 4 days a week for the next three months. the difference in atmosphere is amazing. they do have discipline probs/some bad kids but the teachers are all lovely and happy and friendly. as a result there is not the same violence in the bad students. i am so much happier this semester.i have to get 2 buses each way to school everyday so that's saying something! my visit school every thurs is a really high level, small school (4 english classes total) in furumachi. it is a joy to work there. so yeah i'm like a different person and it's all down to the atmosphere.
kelly, i know it's sooooooo true how much better one feels! that's awesome to hear, that you'll have a way better semester. i'm on page 247 of the da vinci code today...it's getting saucy! and kat, i'm now 3/4 of the way through the five people you meet in heaven - was so tired last night but wanted to keep reading!
no! i've devised this ingenious plan where i've downloaded several books (text version) on my laptop through a kazaa document search. it's great! downloads in a couple of minutes. so i just sit here, staring at my computer screen. i mean, my teacher's know i don't have anything to do, but just taking out a book and reading does make me feel a bit silly. i've read all day today with the exception of 3rd period (where i taught), 1/2 of 2nd period (where i prepared the lesson), lunch, and about an hour of japanese studying.
