that is PRECIOUS! aww..I have two nieces and a nephew in Australia that I've never met in person but they send me pics and stuff and it totally breaks my heart just looking at them. *sigh* I can't wait to spoil them in person!

I think the caption should be "wow, I can't believe I'm so freaking adorable! eh?!"

my sister valerie(her mum) is still studying there and is sitting exams this month. little dani was on a waiting list for trinity childcare/creche which is heavily subsidized (like a 1/3 the cost of normal daycare). dani recently got a spot. i too was confused when i got a mail entitled "dani got into trinity woo hoo!" she kissed her first boy on day one! although dani is almost 10 months old now and my sis can call in and see her at any time/take her for lunch etc.etc. she would prefer in an ideal world to stay home with her. in japan women take 3 years maternity leave on average! mental! or maybe it's a good thing.
