actually i find it rather ironic. when i first got here we experienced a record number of typhoons, which resulted in major floods and landslides. then the earthquake, tsunami, and now record snowfall in the south of the prefecture. what's next i wonder? (are there any volcanoes near me?)

Keep posting! I like the umbrellas in the snow. I can't believe you were in Thailand during the tsunami after the earthquakes in Japan!
