before the conference i went up to toyko early to catch up with joe cairnes who used to live in shibata during my first year in japan. lins came with me, and we also met up with kate, laura, luke, liz and tiff for a crazy night out in the big city. started out in an izakaya in shinjuku followed by an all-nighter at a drum and base night at Unit in daikonyama. 4am finds me asleep in the locker room...
